This is the final edit from the small business assignment we were all assigned. I was drawn to this business because I saw my grandparents’ immigration experiences being replayed by the Dominguez family. I was fortunate in that the Dominguez family was highly receptive to the project, were quick to become comfortable with me in their face for hours at a time, and kept giving me food.
