An unidentified man threatened to jump off a building overlooking the Madame Tussauds wax museum near Times Square yesterday afternoon, but was talked down by the NYPD. 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenues was closed by emergency responders while hundreds of onlookers gathered. After a negotiation process that lasted about three hours, the man was taken into custody unharmed for further physiological evaluation.
